In one paragraph
Reps brings health, nutrition and training together on iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch, so you can decide what today calls for: push, recover, or simply keep moving. Version 2.0 adds an honest energy curve that winds down through the hours you are awake, check-ins from REX, the in-app coach, after workouts and meals and as bedtime approaches, a Today screen that still opens on something useful after a night without your watch, and caffeine that counts as you sip it. Reps is made by Siddharth Natamai, an independent developer in Toronto, and is free to download on the App Store.
The longer story
Reps brings health, nutrition and training together on iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch, so you can decide what today calls for: push, recover, or simply keep moving. It gives you a clear readiness score with a plain-English reason, shows how any health metric compares with your usual and what moved it, and can build or follow a training plan that adapts to how recovered you are.
Reps 2.0, released on October 25, 2026, is built around being honest about what the app knows. Your energy winds down through the hours you are awake, and you can press and drag along the curve to see what your meals and coffee actually did. After a night without your watch, Today still opens on something useful, and you can add sleep for any of the past seven nights. Coffee you sip slowly counts as you drink it, and Reps shows a coffee for what it is: you feel more alert for a while, but it does not refill the energy your body has used. Health screens leave gaps when nothing was measured instead of filling them in.
REX, the in-app coach, has its own tab. Ask about your own history, any number on any past date, training, recovery or meals, and REX tells you which AI answered. At times you choose, after a workout, before your usual snack, or as bedtime and your last useful coffee approach, REX sends a short check-in. Tap it to talk it through, snooze it for an hour, or turn that check-in off. You choose how many check-ins you get a day, three by default and up to six, and set your own quiet hours.
Around that sit meal logging from a photo or a description, calories, macros, water and caffeine in one place, allergy alerts, a smart alarm that looks for lighter sleep near the end of your wake window, an aisle-sorted grocery list, Siri and Shortcuts, Apple Watch ECG recordings explained in plain English, a shareable health report, and a two-pane layout on iPhone Duo. Desktop AI for Mac lets you connect Claude or ChatGPT on your Mac and ask about your own Reps history.
Reps is free to download on the App Store in nine languages. Reps Pro adds REX coaching, meal photo analysis and deeper patterns across health, nutrition and training. REX is a coach, not a doctor, and nothing in Reps is medical advice. Reps first launched on October 10, 2025, and the current version, 2.0.1, is its 34th App Store release.

What Reps does not claim.
- REX is coaching support, not medical advice.
- The recovery half of Reps needs an Apple Watch. Without one, Reps still logs the food, training and sleep you enter yourself.
- Reps makes no Garmin, WHOOP or Oura hardware integration. Workouts those apps write to Apple Health come across; their own recovery scores do not.
- There is no Android version of Reps.
- This kit quotes no ratings, download figures, awards or revenue.
